It is a traditional style domed kettle, the design of which will stand the test of time. It does not have any bells, whistles or flashing lights, it simply boils water. A 360 power base makes the kettle suitable for left or right hand use and it also has cord storage which is very useful for preventing unwanted trailing flex. The spout is sufficiently large that it is possible to fill the kettle using one hand without having to remove the lid. There are lots of other useful features about this kettle like a neat water window underneath the handle.
