This powerful speaker system features a unique ring-like design with an iPod dock built into the center. Surrounding the iPod dock is a system of four high-fidelity JBL Odyssey speakers protected by a wire mesh. The audio quality it delivers is consistent throughout the high, mid and low frequencies and has a deep distortion-free bass. But the JBL Radial is more than just a speaker system, it's a multi-function platform for you iPod.
The JBL Radial, although designed specifically for use with the iPod, is compatible with a multitude of music players. It incorporates an Apple iPod Universal Dock system that, when used, gives you access to not just your iPod music, but your files, photos and videos as well. The dock fits all dockable iPods including the iPod mini, nano and the new 5G iPod Video. For non iPod users, The Radial also includes a 3.5mm stereo mini-jack so that you can connect it to any MP3 player, Discman, or DVD player. You can even use it with your computer as a replacement (and an upgrade) for your speakers!
As a multimedia entertainment center, the JBL Radial's key feature is its connectivity.
